Fees and Coverage
The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) does not cover psychological services. However, many extended health benefit plans include coverage for sessions with a Registered Psychologist. Our fees follow the guidelines recommended by the Ontario Psychological Association. In some cases, we may be able to offer a reduced rate depending on your insurance coverage or financial circumstances.
If you require assessment or treatment due to a workplace injury, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) may cover the cost of your sessions.
If your needs are related to a motor vehicle accident, your auto insurance may fund your treatment.
For most services, payment is due at the end of each session. You will receive a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement or used as a medical expense on your income tax return. Payment can be made by e-transfer.
If your sessions are pre-approved and funded by WSIB, an insurance company, or another third-party payer, we will bill them directly, so no payment will be required at the time of your appointment.
