WSIB Assessments

At Touyeh Psychology Group, we collaborate with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) to deliver psychological assessment and therapy services to individuals dealing with workplace-related injuries or illnesses. If you’re facing challenges such as workplace stress, a work incident, or a series of incidents, undergoing an assessment could be a crucial step. Our aim is to provide you with the care, support, and a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

How It Works

Once you file a claim with the WSIB, you may contact our clinic to get started with the assessment process.

Intake

We’ll request some fundamental details from you, like a concise overview of your workplace incident or situation. Following that, we’ll arrange a provisional assessment while you await approval from WSIB. Once your claim gets the green light from WSIB, our clinic will promptly send you confirmation of your scheduled assessment.

Assessment

During the assessment, a clinical interview will delve into your history, concerns, and current circumstances to grasp their impact on your life. Additionally, you’ll undergo a set of standardized psychological tests. Following this, the psychologist will compile a report detailing the assessment findings, which will be submitted for treatment approval.

Treatment

Once your claim receives approval from WSIB, we’ll pair you with a therapist whose expertise aligns with your specific situation. Collaboratively, you’ll embark on a journey to process the event, comprehend your symptoms, and work towards your goals. As you grow more comfortable and prepared, your therapist may also engage in discussions about return-to-work objectives and suggestions with you.
